Tzvetelina Iossifova (b. 1969) is founder-director (together
with Dessislava Gavrilova) of The Red House Centre for Culture
and Debate.
Tzvetelina Iossifova is Dipl. Psychodrama-therapist (2007),
specialized psychotherapy at Sigmund Freud University, Vienna
(2006). She has studied Theatre Studies at the Theatre
Department of the New Bulgarian University and has had intensive
practice as a performer (1991-1994). She holds a Master Degree
in Economics and Management of Industry from the University of
National and Global Economy, Sofia (1987-1992).
In 2002 established (together with Dr. David Ieroham, M.D.) and
runs since then MA programme in Artistic Psycho-Social Practices
at the New Bulgarian University. Since April 2006 is elected
representative of the Family of NGOs working in the field of
culture and arts in Bulgaria.
Visiting lecturer at National Academy for Fine Arts (2005),
Sofia Univesrity (2005), National Academy for Theatre and Film
Arts (2001-2003), New Bulgarian Univesrity (1997-2001). From
1996 till 2001 works for the Soros Centre for the Arts – Sofia,
established and ran variety of international and local
initiatives and programmes like Summer Academy for Performing
Arts – Sofia (1997-2001), Fund for Support of Debut Projects
(2000-2001), Arts for Social Change programme for Bulgaria
(1999-2001), etc.
