Nevena Borissova (b. 1979) graduated in Theatre Studies from the New Bulgarian University (2005). She has performed on various stages of MTI, “Salza i Smiah” Theatre, The Red House, in author’s plays as well as in performances of the Slug theatre at the New Bulgarian University.
Nevena has participated in various theatre, dance and movement trainings with international and Bulgarian participation. Since 2003 she has been working on social programmes for integration and development of children and young people, deprived from parental care in the following projects: Art for Social Change, Summer Theatre School in Shiroka Laka, Let’s Hear the Children’s Dreams, Transitional Spaces.
Since 2006 she enrolled in a MA programme in Artistic Psycho-Social Practices at the New Bulgarian University.
Since 2004 she has been working at The Red House Centre for Culture and Debate.
