Women, Ethnicity, Science
round table
The round table aims at discussing several problems: women in science, public policies on minorities, access of minorities’ representatives to university and scientific career, European networks, funds and experiences.
With the participation of experts from ministries, representatives of NGOs, university professors and scholars will exchange their views and perspectives. The participants are from the majority, as well as from minorities, women, as well as and men.
A special gust is prof. John Ead, director of the Centre for the Studies of Nationalism, Ethnicity and Multiculturalism in Great Britain.
A. Krasteva, CERMES director, will present the Project within the 6 th Framework program for building a European network of university women from minority and immigrant origin.
The working languages will be Bulgarian and English.
