public lecture by Lucia Benicka (Slovakia) and presentation of The Summer Photographic school in Liptovsky Mikulas (Slovakia)



Since 1996, Lucia Benicka has been Director and Curator at Dom Fotografie in Slovakia. At Dom fotografie, Ms. Benicka is responsible for running the international photography exchange projects including workshops, network seminars, and traveling exhibitions.

Dom fotografie is the only and specialized non-profit photographic institution in Slovakia. Dom fotografie develops projects of national and international exchange such as exhibitions, workshops, artists-in-residency and educational programs and maintains the photographic archive focused on contemporary Slovak and Eastern European photography. Dom fotografie was located from 1996 till 2006 in Poprad, since 3rd March, 2006 it is relocated in new facilities at Gallery of P.M.Bohun in Liptovsky Mikulas.
