Main topic of day 2: Is there anything that we can do to improve our working conditions? What and how?

The second day of the seminar will focus on identifying strategies for improving the working conditions of the independent performing artists and for strengthening the sector. Participants will be asked to identify and share key problems that they are facing in their work (the more concrete they are – the better). In a following brainstorming discussion participants will be stimulated to find alternative ways to improve their working conditions. It may well turn out that problems and obstacles will be identified, that participants were not aware of and addressing them will turn into a stimulus for positive development.

10.00 - 10.45 h Identification of issues and obstacles in the daily work of independent arts organisation

10.45 - 11.45 h participants split in working groups. Each group brainstorms on possible solutions for one of the identified problems

11.30 - 12.00 h coffee break

12.00 - 13.30 h Report from working groups. Analyses and discussion.

13.30 - 15.00 h lunch break

15.00 - 16.00 h Brainstorming discussion within the whole group – what can we do together to improve our working conditions?
