Swiss–Balkan Creative Music Project
workshop
The aim of the Swiss-Balkan Creative Music Project is to develop new links between Swiss and Balkan musicians in the field of contemporary improvised music. The project has already started in four cities - Sarajevo, Belgrade, Pristine and Skopje. The workshop will give the musicians the possibility to explore together new and fresh practices in electro-acoustic improvised music.
With the participation of : Ensemble Rue du Nord-CH: Jonas Kocher (accordion), Anne Gillot (recorders), Dragos Tara (doublebass & electronics), Laurent Bruttin (clarinets).

Lighting Design
workshop of Mário Bessa
The workshop is an introduction to the aesthetics of stage lighting. It’s aim is to develop a systematic approach to the processes needed to transform design goals into an effective lighting design, and to build an appreciation of lighting design‘s artistic contribution to staged productions.
The workshop programme explores the basic lighting technology, properties of the light and visual perception, creative methods and types of illumination, dramaturgical analysis, conceptual development and communication of the visual concept.
The workshop is for choreographers, performers, creators, lighting designers, technicians and all professionals from the stage productions.

The number of participants is limited. The selection will be based on the order of application as well as on the importance of the participation for the professional development of the candidate.

Designers’ Weekend
Workshop in two parts. It is for young in their spirit graphic designers and all who are exited by visual communication. Some practical examples and applications from the experience of the participants, the working process and talks will be presented. The aim is to support young graphic designers and people who offer jobs to them to communicate between themselves as well as to enrich their mutual experience.

Indian Classical Music on Tabla and Sitar
workshop
The duo Poorva Express - Moa Danieslon - tabla and Stian Grimstad - sitar comes from Stockholm. They are also members of Lele lele kak sme go oplele! The two musicians have been visiting Northern India for 6 years now, and have been studying Indian classical music with masters from the city of Varanasi. In this workshop Moa and Stian will present the traditional instruments and explain melody and rhythm development of Raga, a classical Indian form. The workshop suits everyone - no musical knowledge of Indian music or any other music is required. You may take your (solo) instrument with you!
