DIFFERENCES

The first exhibition of the students in master programme ‘Fashion Design’ at the National Academy of Arts includes different art skills and their projections. The participants are striving to show their original conceptions about the present, here and now. The ambition of the future designers is to turn their art objects into messages, marked by the time they were created in. Different thinking profiles stand out in the process of assembling the modules and in the personal scenario of the events.

The exposition sets off in different paths and that’s what makes it attractive and fun. Although commercial methods have been used, the essence of the exhibition is to provoke reflections in the active search for ‘paintings’ in the world. This is only a game, played by young people with huge fantasy and undefeatable energy.

Stanimira Panayotova takes part with canvases, demonstrating freedom of gesture and confidence in the painting.

Andrey Vrabchev’s sculpture adjustment allows a certain interference with the human body, by getting over the aesthetics of everyday beauty.

Kamelia Rizova takes up photography and the picture itself as a document for expressing the moment.

For Stela Velcheva photography and text are different fields of her imagination.

Adriana Gerasimova turns the images from the commercial billboards into new manifestations of minimalism, expressing unexpected suggestions on the grounds of different culture references.
