exhibition of photographies and posters
„How an anticapitalistic avantgarde theater turns into catchy brand?“
„By ignoring all the ongoing marketing regulations...“

The graphic studio LSD - Berlin together with Volksbuhne Theater, Berlin are about to show us how it happens. LSD was founded in 1991 by Lenore Blievernicht and Bert Neumann as an independent graphic studio in eastern Berlin, trying to export „uncomfortable“ underground means to the public space trough the means of the agressive advirtisment. Since 1992 their partner officially becomes the Volksbuhne Theater in Berlin at Rosa-Luxemburg Platz, as well as various festivals, galleries, literature-, musical-, and film productions since then.
The LSD posters are strongly influented by the specific atmosphere in Berlin and the anarchy means and messages of the theater, which they want to bring out - in the shared spaces.
