The Dress: Taming
The female attempt for body as an exposed body-for-the other one, perceived –existence, a theater, an undressing, a dressing up:
My Part as a Dress
Under the other’s eyes, sentenced to distance between the real body which nails down also the perfect body whose closeness is sought constantly.
The Dress draws me nearer to the perfect body
The imposing of limitations: the invisible blocking that limits the movement and shifting of the bodies; the symbolic shutting practically ensured by the clothes- to cover the body up and call to order.
The order is comfortable for someone else not for me.
The aesthetic object: the exaltation of the body, its transformation into a language for seducing (beauty, elegance, clothes, behavior…)
What is it like to be a doll?
The body that protects itself: an inner conflict, splitting of the ‘I’, a secretly wriggling out of the orders of the consciousness , falling down in the traps of the self-censure: The body is not mine!

Layers
We have been trying to cover up the truth for our perishability by all means. We maintain the illusion by covering up with a variety of layers: skin, clothes, make up…
We manage to deceive the senses; we agree voluntarily to be “fooled” for the truthfulness of our true image.
The electronic image is our next protective layer; through it it seems to us that we come closer and closer to the idea of immateriality of our physical nature. At the moment in which we have achieved our virtual image we imagine ourselves as perfect objects, simulators of the idea of oneself. We cross out the fear of the perishability. Only the fake is our consolation.

Beyond the faces
Beyond the faces exists in a semi-apparent personal world, where the ‘I’ extends in accordance with its gropings. The diffused border with the collective reality appears as an abstract area for interactions and experiments. Here, or respectively- There, in the area of reactions, movement and passivity – by itself an activity as well, I instinctively perceive each significant process as a mystery. It is it that provokes the living being towards purposeful, intuitive or unintentional means of expression. In this way, in the diffusion space, where the real life and the real expression are, we project our portrait for the others and our idea for us. Does the ‘I’ exist in its absolute form among these manifestations?
