Prager Strasse is a manipulative performance. Through the game between the multimedia and everyday realities a new fiction world is achieved, with new own borders and rules.

Prager Strasse is isolated and introvert space. The passport control seems to be very strict. The freedom of speech is deficient. In a “Big Brother” type of a situation – enduring surveillance and manipulation - the only citizents – “number 1” and “number 2”, a man and a woman, experience fragments of their own invented science-fiction reality. They have forgotten their sex, their age, where are they from, what are their names, what type of food do they like, what kind of music do they enjoy, what kind of God do they believe in. All of their personal stories seem to be vanished...

They forgot that they’ve forgotten!

In Prager Strasse a wide screen is transmitting fictious and invented information. The programmes are completely surreal, science-fiction, or sipmly non-existing: news, music and game shows, movies, advertisenments, etc. Science-Fiction TV.

The programs are led by speakers “A” and “B”. This video manipulation controls the behaviour of “number 1” and “number 2”.

Antistatic is organised with the financial support of Etud Foundation, The Ministry of Culture and in partnership with Nomad dance Academy.
