A Text Performance of Jurg Halter (Switzerland)
Jurg Halter, born 1980 in Bern (Switzerland), where he lives. Halter is not only a German speaking writer and a performance Poet (www.art-21.ch/halter), he is also a rapper (www.myspace.com/kuttimc). Halter performed at many well known international poetry festivals like “Poetry International” (Rotterdam), “International Poetry Festival Berlin”, “Poetry Africa” (Durban), “American International Poetry Slam” (Chicago). He published a collection of poems called “Ich habe die Welt beruhrt“ (“I touched the world“) (Ammann Verlag, 2005).
This is the fifth event of the "Page with a Stage”, series of 6 text performances by some of the best known authors of the contemporary literature - live scene in German language. Realised in partnership with The Red House and with the support of Pro Helvetia’s Cultural Programme and the Swiss Embassy in Bulgaria.
