The Red House for Culture and Debate launches a call for projects for Gravity - Free Art - a Free Art Scene Sofia 2008

What?
Gravity - Free Art - a Free Art Scene Sofia 2008 gives a possibility for presentation of original up-to-date projects in the field of drama, dance, visual arts, music, literature and film. Gravity-free Art focuses on the new and the surprising, on art which provokes the boundaries of the individual genres, art that cannot find an easy way to the traditional cultural venues in Sofia.

When and Where?
It will take place from October 1, 2008 to December 31, 2008 at The Red House Centre for Culture and Debate, 15, Lyuben Karavelov Str., 1142 Sofia, Bulgaria.

Why?
Gravity-free Art has already had its previous successful editions since 2004 with the presentation of premiere and experimental works with the participation of more than 100 authors and performers. The Red House has already proved to be the natural venue for experimental and unusual artistic points of view.

Who and How?
Every author or producer can address us with a finished project for its presentation in the Gravity-free Art – a Free Art Scene Sofia 2008. Your proposals are welcomed in a free form untill September 15, 2008 at the latest at the mail address of the Red House or at adonchev@redhouse-sofia.org. Contact person: Antoniy Donchev.

Priority will be given to premieres and debuts. The Red House will cover the printed and electronic advertising and will provide the venue for the presentation of the projects. The production costs have to be covered by the producers/authors/performers themselves.

The Gravity-free Art – a Free Art Scene Sofia 2008 project is realized with the financial support of the Culture Programme of the Sofia Municipality.
