– Slam Poet, Writer and Singer
Frank Klotgen, born 1968 in Essen: performance
poet, poetry slammer and hyperfiction author. Had more than
600 literary shows allover Europe. Since more than 20 years
and for 13 CDs he is the singer of the German alternative
band Marilyn's Army.
For his hyperfiction "Aaleskorte der Olig" he received
the Pegasus - price for internet literature of the German
weekly DIE ZEIT. In 2004 he released the first hyperfiction
novel "Spatwinterhitze" on CD-ROM (Voland &
Quist); in 2005 he put his hyperfiction musical "Endlose
Liebe/Endless Love" online.
Studied communication sciences and works as webmaster of
Universal Music Germany since 1999. Frank Klotgen performs
his poems and spoken word short stories without any paper
in his hands and has lately released his book/CD "Will
Kacheln" (Voland & Quist), containing his best spoken
word texts. Lives in Berlin and is to be found on www.hirnpoma.de.
