Vesselina Sarieva was born in Plovdiv, Slavic Philology graduate of Plovdiv University. She has been engaged in visual arts since 2004, when she made her debut at the exhibition “Art Positive” at the Centre for Contemporary Art – Bania Starinna (Ancient Bath). She has taken part in local and international exhibitions of contemporary art. She has been awarded literature prizes. Her collection of poems “Osht” is to be published. She defines her poetry as evolving from the visual and dependent on it.
