Camera Electronica presents:

Res & Mloski (jisatsuken.cult.bg)

Live intelligent e-music from Varna, Bulgaria

Can today's music be just a sound harmony approach, disconnected from the important changes in people’s consciousness? Are we able, through the controversial complication of the human society constitution, to hear the underground messages below a given musical algorithm? Here is an example of one of the most important of them: in the ocean of sounds the musician self-discipline becomes more and more important. It is important to be keen on choosing the right sound sequences, to save from scattering in the facilitated choices, which we face in the modern life. Through this we can reach other aspects of existence: Do we keep the criteria how to keep the right to choose in the mockery landscape of goods exuberance? Can we connect the spirit of the musician self-discipline to the normal social behavior and relationships? Res & Mloski (with their real names Todor and Anton) are from Varna. They both are the founders of one of the first labels for IDM in Bulgaria. At Camera Electronica they will present their view upon the relations between the serious experimental music styles, harmonic synthetic sounds and a serious comment upon the society building. Can we, instead of delivering hundreds of words about the problems of the society say the same with sound sequences only? Can we hear a soundscape as a debate invitation?

Camera Electronica

Camera Electronica is a series of monthly events, presenting unconventional, experimental, electro-acoustic music, created by Bulgarian artists still a bit unknown to the mass public.

The project initially aims to introduce independent Bulgarian artists, working in the field of experimental music not associated with big music companies. Camera Electronica explores musical forms that go beyond any style or musical definition and presents artists, working in the field of sound behavior, field recording, plundering, experimenting with the physical parameters of acoustics as well as ambient and IDM styles. Generally called “musical experiment” this research has rare counterparts in Bulgarian culture.
The project intends to introduce this kind of art to the regular audience of the Red House and to attract people, already accustomed to experimental music, used to encountering this music intermittently, sporadically, at irregular intervals.

April 29 (Saturday), 8.00 p.m.
