The myths of Samson and Massada teach the young Israeli generations that death is preferable to submission. Today when the second intifada is over, the Palestinians bear the daily humiliations of the Israeli army. This extenuated population as once upon a time the Jews facing the Romans or Samson facing the Philistines, cries its anger and despair.
