Emilia Dvorjanova in
“Passion or the Death of Alice”
The forth literary salon at The Red House will take
us back to “Passion and the Death of Alice” by Emilia Dvoryanova.
The novel has just marked its tenth anniversary with a release
and a translation into French (by Marie Vrina). It is one
of the most vital literature texts that have been created
in the last decades in Bulgarian. Cleo Protohristova,
a literary historian, takes the role of the proponent. Lyubomir
Terziev, a romanticism specialist, will be the opponent.
He passed the ordeal of being Dvoryanova’s interpreter into
English. With the participation of Emilia Dvoryanova,
Dimitrina Kondeva, publisher of the novel,
Atanas Atanasov, piano player and composer
and Kristina Yordanova, PhD student and and
all who have their "pros" and "cons" about
one of the most unyielding writer voices in Bulgaria.
