Dilmana Yordanova is Bulgarian, but she has been living in Bucharest for more than 10 years. She defines herself as visual artist covering almost all the forms of expression – painting, photography, audio-video installations and site-specific performances.
As VJ she has mixed for many events organized in Romania, working with different DJ’s and music producers.
In 2005 she started her collaboration with DJ Marica – one of the most appreciated Romanian DJ’s.
The collaboration with the musician Brazda Lui Novac started during the first edition of the AVmotional festival in 2004.
Together with Mihalea Kavdanska formed the VJ collective named KOTKI.
In 2006 she was invited by the founders Mihaela Kavdanska and Stefan Tiron to be one of the co-organizers for the third edition of AVmotional.

Cristian Stanciu is co-founder of Yama Studios in 1996. The Yama Studios is one of the top producers of radio and TV commercials, music for short films and corporate films. Many of the soundtracks produced by Yama have received awards and nominations in national and international advertising festivals. In the same time the studio got well known for producing most of the underground electronic music in Romania. They also organize parties and events with electronic music.

AVmotional 01 and 02 gathered about 30 audiovisual projects and more than 50 audio and video performers from Romania, Bulgaria, France, Austria (cuts form all lives and music in mp3 format, can be found on the AVmotional01&02 dvd). The first two editions had guiding role in recognising, gathering and developing the Romanian A/V live performing scene. They were also a response to the fast growing need for more venues, acting as meeting points and performance options to a rich and demanding community.

It is not just an experimental AV event, gathering the whole Romanian audiovisual sceen;
It is not just an international electronic music festival;
but a PLATFORM to present, exchange and promote outstanding Romanian and international productions in the field of the new electronic/acoustic music, audiovisual performance, vj-ing and interactive new media installations. Through AVmotional we're in touch with a community of audiovisual artists who give proof of original content and artistic value.
With AVmotional we produce compilation dvds, organize screenings and performances, curate subprograms and in the future, book artists.

THE WEBSITE

The AVmotional website www.avmotional.com , developed by www.underconstruct.com, is meant to be the on-line face of AVm Platform and to release not only the events, but also to be a powerful information, networking tool and audiovisual database for promoting audiovisual projects, artists, newest technical developments from Romania, The Balkans and abroad.
